Job Description

A key member of the FDMS Project management team. Responsible for managing our team of Project Managers and Analysts to ensure the successful delivery of complex and/or strategic projects. And to ensure that all projects and initiatives are completed to agreed timelines, within budget. Whilst ensuring FDMS project delivery & operating model governance standards are met.

Job Specific Responsibilities

Deliverables & Responsibilities

· Managing Projects – Responsible for owning, managing & driving complex, high priority revenue generating, or strategic projects. Or component phases of larger programmes, with minimal supervision. Including risk & issue management and managing, or partnering with cross functional teams. Responsible for the creation and management of detailed project plans throughout the project lifecycle.

· Project Delivery & Governance – Ensures all FDMS projects are delivered within agreed timelines and budget constraints. Following FDMS project team governance through all phases of the project lifecycle, from kick off through to production implementation. Facilitates and manages project communications and presentations to business stakeholders of all levels.

· Team Management & Resourcing – Interprets strategy to forecast and plan resources to satisfy business requirements for Project Management and Analyst support; allocates new projects to team members; provides timely business case for extra resource as and when required. Organises regular 121’s and team meetings to review current workload, allocate new projects; share best practice etc; implement training and development plans to up-skill and develop the team.

· Process mapping & process re-engineering.

·Reporting – Provides regular reporting on project and initiative status, including critical path, milestones, dependencies, risks & issues & budgets as required.

Support the FDMS Project Director as required.
