You must be able to:
– Interact with product management and business teams to establish a clear technology roadmap that is adopted by all stakeholders.
– Interact with Project Sponsors, other Technical Program Managers, and multiple development teams to define and deliver complex features.
– Lead the effective and efficient delivery of large complex cross-functional projects.
– Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints.
– Maximize resources for the greater good of the organization.
– Identify, assess, track and mitigate issues and risks at multiple levels.
– Create, maintain and disseminate project information to stakeholders.
– Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities.
– Handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other related field.
– Solid understanding of technology and ability to dive deep on technology requirements and guide projects to completion.
– 10+ years of work experience, including significant team lead and/or project management experience using an iterative project methodology (Agile, Scrum, etc).
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced Degree such as an MS or MBA
– Experience with current web technologies including Omniture Site Catalyst and basic HTML
– Experience working with a team of developers overseas
– Strong quantitative analytical abilities
– Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals.
– Excellent oral and written communication skills
– Track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects
– Experience with managing global corporate website initiatives
– Experience with business applications such as Word, Excel and Project
– Scrum Certified or equivalent experience.
