Responsibilities:
• Develop top-quality, maintainable, and stable code
• Coordinate activities of other personnel as a team leader
• Network with key contacts outside your own area of expertise
• Provide accurate estimates on user stories in sprints
• Participate and advise in code reviews
• Be a subject matter expert in specific parts of a system
• Design high-level, high-performing, and maintainable systems
• Present technology concepts to disparate groups
• Advocate and enforce best practices
• Communicate effectively and responsibly in an Agile environment
Requirements:
• Strong knowledge and experience with server-side Java applications
• Understanding of dynamic web development using Java
• Experienced in creating efficient and reliable JavaScript that works across platforms
• Full understanding of Object-Oriented and Functional programming paradigms
• Possess knowledge of industry best practices and good software architecture
• Working knowledge of HTML 5, CSS 3, and standard web APIs
• An understanding of current trends in web and mobile development
• 7 years or more of relevant experience
• Excellent communication skills and proven ability to take a team lead position
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience, Masters degree preferred
• Proficiency in spoken and written English
Preferred Qualifications:
• Familiarity and experience with Adobe AEM (CQ) and related technologies
• Experience working with globally distributed teams
• Experience working in the Agile methodology
• Familiarity with responsive web design
