Position Summary

Academic Partnerships’ preference is the position be based at the company’s corporate offices in Dallas and will report Vice President Academic Services.
Be expected to interact frequently with other members of the leadership including the CEO, COO, CMO, and Vertical Leader Marketing-Healthcare.
Will be expected to assist the VP of Academic Services and Vertical Leader in establishing/delivering on the company’s strategy, enabling Academic Partnerships to be the Global Online Nursing education leader
Provide oversight in the use of instructional technology & design.
Will play a leadership role in the design requirements for an enterprise-wide infrastructure that supports the company’s partners and ensures students are learning, obtaining their degree and licensure.
Thought Leader that helps ensure at scale:
Instructional design of highest quality
Enable students to obtain necessary skills
Licensing preparation and test readiness.
The Leader will help design infrastructure requirements so we can scale including:
Mechanism to have agreements with affiliate and preceptors.
Portal for identifying and attracting qualified preceptors.
Mechanism to track student’s registration and location including potentially the universities tools.
Mechanism to drug screen.
Network of clinical coordinators.
The Leader will consult with University Deans and Faculty to ensure programs are aligned with the University mission and goals

QUALIFICATIONS

Successful Candidate Profile

A successful candidate will have three or more years in online education, five or more years in nursing education, and have an MSN.

An ideal background will include broad and deep knowledge of online Healthcare instruction (pedagogy and technology) and knowledge of the infrastructure essential for scale
