Decision Support and Data Analytics software firm looking bring on Senior JavaScript Developer and Technical Lead to spearhead new product initiatives.
Our client is a small, dynamic, growing software company whose client list includes both Federal and commercial customers. Their software products provides clients with necessary tool set to allow for sophisticated and strategic decision making processes.
The Technical Lead role will be a key resource in helping shape the direction of the company – whether though mentoring a team of engineers to guiding the direction of product enhancements to ensuring client satisfaction. This individual will be a valuable contributor and trusted member within the organization.
We seek an experience technologist with expertise in full stack development. The successful candidate will have strong background building next generation client applications – writing high performance, quality code. You will work closely with the product design and user experience teams to design sleek, responsive and innovative applications (some of them mobile). This is a unique opportunity to be an integral member and help build a high performance software development team.
Qualifications:
8-10 years of software development experience in particular Java and web development
Expert knowledge of JavaScript
Strong understanding with MVC libraries such as Angular, Ember or Backbone
Experience with Spring and/or Hibernate
Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written)
Solid understanding and detailed approach to testing and quality assurance
Background with data analytics, big data, Hadoop, technologies a major plus.
