Head of Technical Delivery – London – up-to £65,000
My client is a global leader, providing Data Warehouse and Integrated Marketing solutions to an enviable client portfolio.
Due to phenomenal growth, they are now looking for an ambitious individual with a strong technical background to take on the position of Head of Technical Delivery.
Role
The Head of Technical Delivery will be responsible for leading a hybrid team of project focused and technical individuals in the delivery of Email Marketing programs, leading and managing the execution and delivery of client solutions from a services perspective.
The successful individual will also be responsible for setting strategic goals and priorities for the team, whilst leading and managing complex projects through to successful completion. You will be hands on in the delivery of high profile / complex projects, and will be overseeing a portfolio of high volume projects ensuring the successful delivery by the project team.
We are looking for someone who has a strong technical background with Web Integration technologies, with the ability to advise and support technically as and when required. Applicants should have a proven background in refining current development methodology and business processes, with proven experience managing and motivating a direct team.
Essential Requirements
Experience of leading/motivating a significant team, preferably within a web development, digital or e-marketing related role
Technical writing competency; ability to create technical specifications
Strong understanding of databases and scripting principles, with an advantage to knowledge of any of the following: Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server development, PHP, Perl, ColdFusion
Working knowledge of Web Services and related technologies
An understanding of API’s (i.e. REST, SOAP, JSON)
Experience of business process modelling would be an advantage
UI/UX understanding desirable
Ability to read and modify HTML and JavaScript
