Looking for Sales Representative who will focus on selling our Business Intelligence product line, including Endeca Information Discovery and the Exalytics engineered system. He/she will report into the BI Sales Manager Northern Italy. Based in Padova.

This is not a “work from home”/”work in the office” job,extensive travel in the given territory is key as well as extensive interaction/planning with other team members and other Oracle Sales stakeholders. We are looking for a committed, hard working, energetic and passionate software sales professional to fill this position.


Dedicated to the Finance, Telco, MRD and Local Public Sector market for Triveneto, Emilia and Padova area.
Winning new direct licence sales revenues in line with targets in close collaboration with selected partners
Development of a strategy and sales plan to address the designated MRD market
Target specific industries within the territory with specific value propositions, in close collaboration with Business Development and the rest of the sales team
Drive the definition of appropriate BI Value Propositions
Foster a close collaboration with partners in the assigned territory
Driving the implementation of sales and marketing campaigns
Generating and following up on leads through selected partners
Qualifying leads and prioritising opportunities
Marshalling internal and Partner resources to conduct campaigns
Identifying and working with the appropriate people in Oracle and the Customer
Developing, extending and maintaining relationships with the appropriate staff
Facilitating and nurturing Senior Management relationships to generate active sponsorship of Oracle
Working with, and influencing the activities of Oracle Partners as appropriate
Maintaining an understanding of Oracle’s strategic direction and interpreting its relevance to the market
Maintaining an awareness of Oracle’s current and future BI products and services
Maintaining an understanding of competitive activity relevant to the BI space in the assigned territory.



Experience in similar position at least 3+ years (application sw sales experience is preferred)
Knowledge of the market. Specific competence in 2+ industries (e.g. retail, automotive, finance or telco) is a must.
Proven ability to sell IT products (applications) to customers at the CIO level and possibly CEO
Relentless can-do approach (Seek multiple alternatives to get the job done when the first approach did not work)
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Native Italian speaking and Fluency in English.
