Professional experience: Experience in project management, service management or consulting of products and services in need of explanationIn the field of customer consulting you will be responsible for customer’s project management with regards to managed hosting or MPLS-VPNs, respectively. You, as the service manager, will be responsible for the long term account management after the transition from the new project over to regular operation.You will also identify new customer requirements and work closely together with the sales department.

Responsibilities:       

Ø  Build-up and continuous care for partner-like relationships to customers, also on a management level

Ø  Professional support of business clients during the realisation of projects and, afterwards, also during regular operation

Ø  Problem management, reporting, change management, continuous service enhancement

Ø  Escalation management

Ø  Independent leadership of challenging, international customer projects.

Ø  Project design, planning, coordination of internal and external service providers

Ø  Sales support incl. Presentations of solution concepts on management level

Ø  Taking over of client conversations regarding the value date

Ø  Quality assurance and risk management

Ø  Collaboration to continuously improve processes and tools

Ø  Focus lies within the operation of datacentres.

Requirements:          

Ø   Studies in information technology or similar training/education

Ø  At least 3 years of work experience in a similar position at an IT or Telecommunications company

Ø  Technical competence in the core business managed hosting or VPN

Ø  Certification in the field of ITIL as well as project management are advantageous (PRINCE2, PMBoK, ICB/IPMA or similar)

Ø  Knowledge in ISO9001 and ISO27001 is an advantage

Ø  Secure knowledge with regards to solution design, budgeting as well as offer and contract design

Ø  High customer focus and assertiveness

Ø  Distinct understanding of quality

Ø  Structured and solution-oriented way of working

Ø  Very good verbal and written English skills
