This role will drive Betfair’s customer centric, global marketing led CRM agenda using data, analysis and insight to bring together a compelling customer proposition aligned across Brand, Product, and commercial teams. This role will to take our CRM plans to the next level increasing ROI, improving effectiveness and driving towards a multi-channel, real time, data driven, increasingly automated, customer centric approach across all of our Sports products and regions. This is a high profile role expected to communicate strategy and plans to senior management in a compelling way.The Team
Reporting to the Head of CRM, Sports, this role drives the strategy, and planning within the CRM team from idea to planning to measuring success.  This role will work closely with the CRM executional teams, the data and insight team as well as the acquisition, brand and commercial teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Devise the CRM strategy using market trends, past campaign results and insights into our customer base
  • Realise the strategy through planned change programmes
  • Plan and drive changes within Sports Marketing as a result of wider business change
  • Improve value/payback/ROI of CRM
  • Work closely with the data/insight analysis team (part of Sports marketing team)
  • Understand and drive objectives against specific engagement and customer profitability objectives.
  • Driving improvements in CRM processes, targeting, segmentation
  • Improve core CRM metrics across all channels
  • Advocacy & Customer Satisfaction (NPS shared)
  • Exploit multi-channel /multi-platform capabilities and drive new ones
  • Provide thought leadership to Customer Marketing across Sports/Poker/Games encouraging innovation, best practice and a platform for all Customer marketing.
  • Ensure design and delivery of programme in all countries

Essential Skills:

  • Strong strategic marketing and planning skills, based on a customer insight driven approach and mindset
  • Must have solid experience of CRM strategy in an online high tech company and a fast paced environment
  • Understanding and implementation of sophisticated customer segmentation targeting & data usage.
  • Knowledge of CRM system and processes (Campaign software, Data Management software)
  • Solid experience of using data to drive continuous improvement
  • Presentation skills – ability to sell an idea/direction
