The Microsoft Advertising and Online (A&O) department in Austria is currently seeking a
Senior Account Executive Advertiser (m/f)
The Senior Account Executive Advertiser provides customers with solutions to their marketing and media needs that generate revenue for Microsoft Advertising and drive both customer value and satisfaction. The person will master the full portfolio of Microsoft Advertising including MSN, Skype, Outlook.com, Windows Phone and Xbox and will be able to articulate our value proposition in those domains vs our direct competitors, but also integrate it in the broader media landscape. This will include multi-platform and multi-screen executions, delivering insights and solutions that address identified business priorities of the advertiser and capitalizing on the account’s strengths to maximize revenue and share. This role is the Microsoft trusted advisor to client marketing departments.
•The Sr. Account Executive is responsible for building relationships, developing partnerships and selling digital advertising solutions to an aligned set of Advertiser accounts.
•Therefore the Sr. Account Executive has deep knowledge of the marketing planning process at Advertisers. He/she knows how to connect the Microsoft Advertising solution to the marketing departments.
•The Sr. Account Executive will be driving opportunities, identifying, prioritizing and closing business while managing the all-up relationships across those accounts organizations: from advertiser, to creative and media-buying agency.
•The Sr. Account Executive leads external joint business planning with clients as well as internal account strategy and planning activities.
•This will include multi-platform and multi-screen executions, delivering insights and solutions that address identified business priorities of the advertiser and capitalizing on the account’s strengths to maximize revenue and share.
•University-Degree (e.g. Economics, Communications Management, International Business Management) or similar.
•Excellent industry network and deep knowledge in the digital and media industry. A minimum of five years of successful direct sales, business development, or account/media management experience including at least three years in selling advertising solutions (online and offline).
•Entrepreneurial spirit and pro-active attitude with real passion about the benefits of technology and the internet
•Excellent presentation and communication skills
•Strong skills in initiating executive-level contacts in accounts and their agencies, securing sales presentation opportunities, and demonstrated success in closing new business relationships
•Collaboration: you are team player, always leveraging the success of the whole team and the team at clients side. Also, in- and outside the business unit of Microsoft Advertising. You ensure the account team is connected, coordinated and fully informed on the client’s business.
We offer an annual gross salary starting from € 77.000 with a view to increase based on the qualification and experience of the candidate.
