Description

To become a successful nominee for this position you need to be an experienced marketer who is able to function at a high level of performance with minimal supervision, is self-directed and motivated, able to work independently and able to take direction in a fast-paced environment. This position requires a high level of initiative and flexibility to contribute to multiple areas in a nimble organization. The applicant should have a history of cross-group collaboration and communication across a diverse, geographically dispersed, multicultural environment.

In this position you’ll be a part of the worldwide and EMEA IDZ team. You will plan, develop and execute marketing activities for IDZ in France and EMEA region which include but are not limited to:
Planning, developing and running advertising and promotion (A&P) campaigns, including online promotions, direct mailing campaigns and events logistics
Participating in development the worldwide IDZ strategies and tactics with the worldwide ISPP team
Achieving global and/or local developer marketing goals, including the growth of the IDZ membership and traffic
Planning and managing A&P budgets; organizing developer and ISV events and participating in day to day relationship with selected customers (ISVs)
Pioneering new ways of engagement with ISV ecosystem like social media, intelligent matchmaking and digital content distribution
Identifying market research and data mining areas as well as conducting customer satisfaction surveys
Developing relationship with most popular developer sites in France and facilitating content syndication and sharing between IDZ and various developer sites in EMEA

Qualifications

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; Master degree is a definite plus
Practical experience in marketing, including advertising campaigns execution and event management, for minimum 3 years
Excellent communication and written skills in the French language plus good communication and written skills in the English language is a must
Practical knowledge of online and traditional advertising as well as search engine marketing principles
Understanding of WEB 2.0 services including social media, blogs, RSS, etc.
Practical knowledge of customer relationship and managing customer/partner programs
Fluency in key European languages (e.g. German or Italian) is a benefit
Understanding of modern hardware & software trends is a plus
Practical experience in software and web development is a plus
Personal blog (on any subject) would be an added advantage
