Job Description
The role of the Manager, Order Management will be overseeing and continuously enhancing order management and subscription billing processes as it pertains to each organization across the company. This person will also be working on syncing the ordering and billing process with the new ERP systems. This will be the “go to” person for all things ordering and billing at Lithium. The ideal candidate will have a solid background working with highly scalable billing systems and flexible billing environment (eg. Usage based). Candidates coming from subscription based businesses in either the SaaS and/or eCommerce industries are a plus.
Accountabilities and Job Activities:
Have good understanding of contracts and ensure orders are properly set up in the subscription management system so that the subscription results in accurate billing
Gather both business and technical requirements to continuously enhance order and billing processes
Create, maintain, and evolve Lithium’s catalog of packages, products, tiers, promotions, and discounts
Partner with marketing and product management to run new product strategies supporting up market growth
Analyze and improve performance, scalability, and long-term stability of overall order and billing system
Generate reports & dashboards to track and measure overall availability, performance, and business ROI of order and billing system.
Manage quarterly roadmaps that drive key company initiatives as they pertain to orders and billing
Manage staff – set and monitor goals and deadlines, train, coach and develop staff
Drive the end to end life cycle of implementing and deploying a new billing system
Education and Experience:
BA/BS in Accounting or Finance
6+ years of progressive Orders or AR experience, with at least 2 years in a management role
Experience working with subscription environment preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, communication and analytical skills
Knowledge of and experience with SOX 404 preferred
Proficiency in MS Office Suite required
