A market leader are keen to hire an Internal IT Help Desk Specialist to join their UK team in Surrey.
The role is a contract role initially for 6 months and is responsible for giving customer support to internal employees of the organisation.
You will manage small projects and be a mentor to junior helpdesk specialists as well as being the senior escalation point for a variety of technologies to include Mac and Linux desktop systems.
- Strong previous experience within a customer-driven Help Desk role
- Background of maintaining Linux operating systems, hardware and packages as well as administering Mac/Windows client operating systems/packages
- Skills to include troubleshooting, upgrading and repairing (desktops, laptops and associated hardware)
- Ideally you will have knowledge of networking/protocols (DHCP, HTTP, DNS and basic switching)
