As Venture Capital MD, you will be primarily responsible for sourcing, planning and leading strategic investments and/or acquisitions on behalf of GE Software & Analytics. You may also be involved in structuring Joint Ventures, alliances, carve-outs, and other high-complexity deals.
Key aspects of the role include strategy formulation, opportunity assessment, build/buy/partner analysis, due diligence, asset valuation, financial planning, transaction structuring & negotiation, and integration planning.
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university with a STEM major in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math or finance.
  • Minimum of 15 years of combined work experience in the following areas: software engineering, tech startups, accounting, finance, venture, corporate development, strategic alliances, and/or statistics/econometrics.
  • Minimum of 5 years of direct Venture or Mergers and Acquisitions experience.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be willing to work out of an office located in San Ramon, CA with part time responsibilities in Menlo Park., CA.
  • Must be willing to take a drug test and submit to a background investigation as part of the selection process.

  • Demonstrated track record of success in a leading Corporate venture investing, acquisitions, or venture capital transactions.
  • Masters of Business Administration preferred.

  • Skills in financial modeling and valuation.
  • Skills leading virtual teams to success in high-pressure situations
