The Services Sales Manager (SSM) is a highly motivated, result driven and dynamic leader that motivates and coaches a Sales team to drive new Services business through the provisioning of Microsoft Solutions and Offerings to help our key customers maximize their investment in Microsoft products through deployment and productive use.

The SET Services Sales Manager (SSM) is accountable for leading a well-managed, hi-performing Services Sales team and business resulting in long-term, predictable revenue growth and satisfied Microsoft customers.

The SET SSM :

• Is the Sales coach who guides and develop the sales team/individuals in delivering outstanding results

• Provides a management presence during important Strategic deal negotiations and when dealing with key customers and partners

• Is responsible for the overall SET Services Sales team performance (Core Priorities and results).

• Is accountable for executing the Services strategy and attaining the revenue targets in the sales team assigned accounts across the Consulting and Premier support business areas

• Aligns with internal Microsoft groups across Product, Marketing, Sales and Partner teams

• Aligns with functions and peers in Services such as Service Line Management, Sales Excellence, Consulting and Support Practice Management (delivery counterparts) to ensure profitable sales and delivery of services and high overall customer satisfaction

Qualifications:

BS/BA or MBA degree in Sales and Marketing, Information Technology or Information Systems Management

Experience:

5-8 years related experience in People Management and Coaching, Business Management, Sales Management, Team Leadership. A successful management track record of growing business, achieving results and leading team/s in a sales or services capacity is required.

Training and certification:

Employee Performance Management (systems and processes), Sales Management, Account Management, Account Based Marketing ,Complex Sales training (e.g., Shipley, Miller Hyman, Spin, Michael Bosworth, Holden, TAS – Target Account Selling, etc.), Sales Methodologies (equivalent to MSSP), Sales tools – Account Planning, Customer Relationship and Opportunity Management, Complex Deal Structuring, Broad evangelism through events (presentation skills), Negotiation, Contracting, Financial analysis
