REQUIREMENTS:
BS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent
3 – 5 years of industry experience in software development or engineering performinghands-on coding using Java.
3 years development experience in Hadoop environment with experience in Java based Map/Reduce and/or HBase development.
Experience with Linux/Unix and familiarity with network/internet protocols
3 years hands-on experience in the development and maintenance of large scale distributed systems with high availability, scalability, performance, sizing, capacity and provisioning
Proficient in computer science algorithms and data structures
Effectively communicate (verbal & written) and collaborate with global teams
Must be authorized to work in US
DESIRED:
Data Analytics – experience in algorithmic modeling, data mining and/or Machine Learning.
Experience in agile methodologies for Big data analytics, data warehousing and end to end web-based applications.
