McAfee’s Consumer division is looking for a full time Senior Manager of User Experience Research to join the Customer Experience Design team to design user interfaces that are useful, usable and desirable. In this role, you will lead the User Experience Research team in the management and development of a world class research program. This role requires a strategic thinker, an innovative creator and someone who will champion the end user. You will work within a fast paced, Agile environment with teams of enthusiastic and creative team members and cross functional organizations. This role is about looking towards the future and driving a research program that will define the future of how security will be defined in our ever changing world of connected living.

  • Your role will be to be an evangelist for user centered design and the importance of customer focus throughout the organization.
  • You will build connections throughout all levels of the business and will be the key contact for leaders within the organization as the expert on customer experience.
Qualifications
Required Experience/Skills & Education:
  • 8+ years of deep research expertise – analysis of any type of research data, ethnography expert, deep knowledge of psychological and sociological literature
  • 8+ years of management experience – management of teams of researchers, analysts, consultants
  • A proven track record of success within organizations
  • Expert communication and relationship building skills
  • Ability to be self-managed while working on several projects simultaneously in a collaborative environment
  • Bachelors or Masters in Information Systems, Interface Design, HCI, Human Factors, Computer Science, and/or Cognitive Psychology
  • Experience working on Consumer and Mobile products a strong plus
