AWS Kumo Development team is looking for exceptional software engineers to build the next generation CRM systems for the paradigm shifting cloud computing industry. Our principal challenge is to improve the customer support and technical support experience for AWS customers. As an engineer working on CRM system, you will work across all AWS Customers from big & diverse enterprise’s like Netflix and NASA to small customers as they interact with support in the cloud. You will get firsthand experience interacting across all AWS services such as EC2, RDS, S3, Redshift, DynamoDB and others. Being an innovative solution in the industry, first of its kind for cloud computing, complex AWS Services and immense amounts of data & workflow makes this problem very challenging.

Cloud Computing being a relatively new industry and complexity of communication channels across CRM and Social Media causes customers to open duplicate messages across diverse channels. In order to respond to customer, the amount of information that needs to be processed is enormous. Lack of timely response can lead to a bad customer experience. Kumo team is chartered to solve this problem using an innovative mix of Information Retrieval, Data Mining and Text Analysis algorithms and human intelligence harnessed via interaction with Principal SDE’s in AWS.
Basic Qualifications

Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Math or related field
5+ years of experience developing in Java/C++ in a Unix environment
5+ years of experience analyzing data
2+ years of experience building high-performance, highly-available and scalable distributed systems

Preferred Qualifications

Past experience in at least one of the following areas – Information Retrieval, Data Mining, Text Analysis or Machine Learning.
Familiar with any scripting language/Ruby/Python
Good understanding of SQL
Be highly innovative, flexible and self-directed.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
