The Client / Purpose of role:

A unique opportunity to participate in the growth of a German subsidiary of a
leading US supplier of web-based Enterprise Project/Portfolio & Resource Management Software. The role offers variety, and requires a thorough
understanding of project management and software product implementation
issues. The ability to work with clients in complex situations is essential. Direct experience of formal project management and a successful consulting background is required. A thorough understanding of relevant technology is desirable. The role involves both delivery of individual consulting assignments and the management of implementation resources across an international organization. It is essential that you demonstrate willingness to develop new skills as the business grows.

Responsibilities:

– Manage multiple product implementation projects

– Assist clients identify their business objectives for the solution implementation over a multi-release horizon that enables effective adoption and measurements of success

– Identify and document the client’s “as-is” environment and processes that link to business objectives and requirements

– Assist in the design, development and documentation of required “to–be” business processes and environment

– Provide coaching to client teams that enable knowledge transfer, rational organization change management approaches to develop the client’s effective usage solutions

– Assisting/managing troubleshooting and resolution of customer issues

– Validate solution success with clients against agreed business objectives to provide on-going guidance relative to changes in the business environment

– Project management & methodologies

– Effective customer management

– Possess skills in conceptualizing creative solutions and communicating them to others including senior management

– Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and drive projects to closure

– Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team

– Effectively manage internal and external deliverables from inception to successful acceptance

– Must have demonstrated understanding of the implementation approach elements including:

* Requirements gathering and analysis

* Business needs analysis and documentation to determine optimum configuration of the software to meet customer objectives

– Self motivated & flexible

– Thorough, enthusiastic, hands on
