We were also the first software company to harness the cloud for our central reservation system (CRS), SynXis. Not willing to settle for the best CRS and distribution capability in the business, we subsequently delivered a world class digital agency specializing in the hospitality industry and then we decided to top it all off with a fantastic cloud based Property Management System (PMS), currently boasting the largest number of property installs on a web based PMS. We are committed to rapidly expanding our competency in mobile, CRM and revenue management, and delivering relevant technology solutions to hoteliers across the world – currently 18,000 hotels in over 170 countries (to be exact!). What you will need to thrive in this role.

DESCRIPTION: This role will be looked at to set and execute the Sabre Hospitality vision for our Online Channel Connectivity business. Manages the product strategy for Online Channel Connectivity (OTA), Meta Search Channels and Global Distribution System Connectivity (GDS). Position includes executive level engagement with our connectivity partners and the leadership of a team of product managers and partner relationship managers. Role includes development of market requirements, defining the product strategy, analysis, development of business plans, managing lifecycles and product positioning. Interaction with software engineering and technology is a critical component of this position in addition to selecting, developing and evaluating personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the team.

  • Role will influence our product strategy & direction for OTA connectivity platform, meta search, management of commercial partnerships and GDS connectivity
  • Subject Matter Expert on OTA Distribution, Meta Search and Guest Review websites and the technology behind connectivity in this space
  • Strong product management process and agile software development background a must
  • Will lead a team of 6 to 12

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum 10 years related experience; 8 years prior management experience. Advanced computer software skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to handle multiple projects. Regularly interacts with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions and/or customers. Requires the ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance from, others in sensitive situations without damage to the relationship.
