Job Description: The candidate for the Staff Physical Design position will be responsible, but not limited to
– working as part of a highly talented ASIC physical design team with focus on mixed signal physical design.
– be able to implement the design from RTL-to-GDS, including floorplan, powerplan, CTS, place & route, timing analysis, physical verification, signal integrity analysis.
– be able to communicate and work effectively with analog/digital/DFT designers to tackle any challenges for the implementation of the design.
– be able to participate in the physical design flow development.
– be able to work with EDA vendors to resolve tool issues and drive future technology.
Job Requirements: Minimum Requirements
– BS+6 years/MS+3 years in Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering
– 2+ years Hands on experience on Physical Design/STA.
– Strong scripting skills on TCL/Perl is preferred.
– Good understanding on CTS/Power Analysis/DFT is a plus
– Good attitude to work and be enthusiatic on challenging designs.
– Familiar with industry EDA tools like Atop/ICC/PrimeTime/Apache/Calibre
