We’re looking for someone who’s mastered JavaScript and is passionate about state of the art web applications. You’re able to quickly fix bugs, solve problems, and look for new ways to improve soundcloud.com.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Implement high-end JavaScript frontend applications using modern techniques such as Backbone.js, WebSockets, ECMAScript 5, WebWorkers and others.
  • Analyze and constantly improve application performance.
  • Respond to user feedback and improve our web applications in quick iterations.

Required skills and experience:

  • CS degree or equivalent fundamentals.
  • Strong software engineering background.
  • Expert knowledge of JavaScript language and its runtimes.
  • Cares deeply about UX/UI
  • Basic web back-end development skills (RoR/MySQL).
  • Experience with web development frameworks such as backbone.js and others.
