Description:
The Fraud Data Warehouse and Analytics team is currently looking for a talented and highly motivated Data Warehouse Database Development Engineer who can partner with upstream technology teams, management, other data warehouse engineers, and operations to support the business by delivering high quality solutions.

Responsibilities:

Assess and interpret business rules, perform data analysis, and create source to target data mapping.
Design, build, and optimize fraud data marts and ETL processes.
Create development, test, and support specifications.
Provide development support and troubleshoot data and/or system issues.
Build/extend toolsets and create/maintain batch jobs.

Qualifications:
Required:

Strong background in data warehousing principles, architecture and its implementation in large environments.
Exceptional ETL design/development knowledge.
Experience using procedural languages in Teradata, DB2 or MS SQL.
Skilled in big data platforms and tools (Hadoop, Hive, Pig, Map Reduce).
Demonstrated knowledge of scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Perl.
Experience with scheduling tools like Control M or Oozie.
History of working with various testing methodologies, processes and artifact creation, and user acceptance testing.

Optional:

Experience with XML parsing in Python or Java.
Exposure to no-sql technologies like Mongo or Cassandra.
Development using an ETL tool like Informatica or Data Stage.
Ability to create and interpret data models using PowerDesigner, etc.
Report development using QlikView, Tableau, Business Objects.
Experience with working in an Agile/SCRUM model.

Education and Work Experience:

Bachelor degree in Computer Science, related technical field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
5+ years of experience in data warehouse technologies and/or a back-end reporting systems.
