Postion Summary

We are looking for a Conversion Marketing Manager, who will manage our conversion marketing efforts at Adobe. The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in direct marketing and specifically in the conversion of free members to paid members through active use and engagement. Must have a demonstrated expertise in database and relationship marketing.

Responsibilities
  • Working under the direction of the Group Manager, partner with the Services Marketing organization to implement a communications strategy that drives conversion of free members to paid membership through active use and engagement.
  • Develop global media recommendations, targeting strategies, creative direction, messaging strategies, and testing strategies for conversion-related marketing activities.
  • Establish funding requirements and secure budget in annual and quarterly planning process.
  • Provide strategic leadership during the creative process and program implementation, to ensure that program implementation supports strategy.
  • Manage global agency relationships in developing creative, and producing customer communications.
  • Work with Marketing Insights & Optimization (MIO) team to develop reporting and analysis around our key conversion programs and activities.
Requirements
  • Position located in San Francisco
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA preferred
  • 5-7 years of experience in direct/response marketing
  • Strong preference for candidates with experience at Saas companies with freemium or free-to-paid offerings
  • Strong background in relationship/CRM marketing with recent operational-level experience in such
  • Solid understanding of online advertising, social media and search strategies with a media planning background
  • Strong business analytical skills
  • Passionate – excited about creative technology offerings
  • Ability to inspire confidence from executives, peers and direct reports.
  • Comfortable and able to lead in a matrixed, international environment.
  • Exposure to web-analytics tools, and experience applying web-analytics insights to marketing programs and strategies
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, both written and verbal, as well as strong presentation skills required
