This position requires a strong aptitude for identifying customer business needs and for building relationships with primary influencers in the purchasing decision process. An ability to understand and work with organizations at the local as well as global level is also essential. Working collaboratively as part of the Global Account Team, creating demand for Cisco Solutions and driving business relevance within the customer’s key decision makers.
Contribute toward and Execute against the Global sales strategy, managing and developing key Client relationships to maximize Cisco wallet-share and profitability.
Driving to exceed team goals as well as hitting personal targets, contributing to overall profitability, success and positive image of Cisco in the marketplace.
Provide vision and leadership to in-country teams, enhance sales team productivity through strong leadership and productivity enhancements.
Leads major cross-functional projects affecting Cisco business, product, or service leadership, articulate product and services strategies the region.
Be a constructive disruptor to change the status quo and displace the competition.
You will be responsible for managing outcome-based client relationships with the client, collaborating with the wider Global Account team.
You will be a technology evangelist with demonstrable proof that you positioned an architecture/design/thought first and others followed. The benefits should be reaped in reputation and wallet share growth.
Implement the global sales strategy to ensure commercial sales targets are met or exceeded in marketplace.
Interface with key Cisco extended team resources (ex. Advanced Services and Advanced Technology), and direct activities within the client as appropriate
Develop and maintain relationships with business partners and manufacturers as per the clients’ overall solution architecture
Actively lead and participate in feedback to Cisco’s BE/R&D groups in order to further progress solutions/architecture/services and their relevance to Barclays.
Maintain a high-profile, professional Cisco presence through business value creation and solutions oriented selling.
Control costs to ensure that expenditure is being managed in line with budgets
Develop and deliver accurate short and long term sales forecasts in line with business objectives
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
– Education to masters degree level, preferable
– Formal training in sales techniques
– Demonstrable track record of successful sales in the financial services industry.

– Previous experience of working within Large Global Accounts
