Channel Account Manager- Dell Financial Services – Western and Pacific Northwestern US – DFS-14000A5I

Since 2007, this group represents over 4B annual revenue and over 10% of Dell’s operating income. Your knowledge of IT financing in areas such as IT Loans, Leases and Fair Market Value Leases can propel you to immediate success as a Channel Account Manager.


Responsible for obtaining and managing accounts with channel customers in the Dell Financial Servives organization. Will work with our Channel partners in securing financial services opportunities.  Develop partnership between the Company and accounts through the coordination of sales, contracts, technical support teams, lease administration, Dell hardware sales, and Channel partners. Perform long range planning. Responsible for increasing market/account penetration by assigned segment and/or geographic region, customer satisfaction and sales growth for long term results. Typically located outside of the headquarters location.

Role Responsibilities

  • Develop and plan account strategies and activities for specified Channel Partners and end user accounts such as selecting accounts, selecting services for calls, identifying customer influences, overcoming objections, introducing new services, making sales presentations and negotiating deals
  • Provide customer and competitor feedback to management
  • Attend and participate in industry sales conferences and trade shows
  • Provide information and technical support necessary to assigned support positions to successfully obtain and maintain customers


  • Excellent knowledge of sales techniques
  • Asset/Capital equipment leasing experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Ability to operate remotely and/or travel 50% or more of the time
  • Excellent knowledge of leasing concepts, principles and practices 
  • Knowledge of I/S industry and computer systems
  • High PC literacy
  • Requires proven selling ability in previous job (s)
  • Prefer any combination equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance or related field with a minimum of seven (7) years related experience. 10. Experience in the leasing industry preferred
  • Experience working with Channel partners, direct and indirect sales.
