The role of the Associate Director, Copy is to conceptually imagine the future and lead the creation of transformative ideas for clients in different industries. The Associate Director, Copy must be able to work comfortably with people from different creative disciplines. This discipline is focused on creating branded trans media stories and content that people want to engage 365 days a year. The copy writing discipline brings the art of succinctly telling a story to a customer within the IBM Design Process. The Associate Director, Copy leads the simplification and curation of ideas as well as sharpening brand stories, which gives a customers context at the right time and place in an Omni channel world. The Associate Director, Copy will be part of a cross-functional team that will typically include a product owner (team lead), a scrum master (agile project lead) or producer (project lead), an information architect, a designer; a social business manager; one or more developer and/or tester, and a metrics analyst.

Act as a key member of a digital transformation creative team
Assess, catalogue and organize web site content (content inventory)
Work closely with all members of the project team
Review and edit content written by others
Write content, communications, web site directives
Develop, maintain and enforce editorial style guidelines
Speak and present to stakeholders and clients on content strategy

Bachelor’s Degree
At least 6 years experience in MS Office, Keynote or other presentation software
At least 6 years experience in writing for advertising and social media platforms
At least 6 years experience in strategies that incorporate Search Engine Optimization (SEO) requirements
Readiness to travel Up to 2 days a week (home on weekends-based on project requirements)
English: Fluent
