Responsibility:
– Manage a team to complete multiple developments efforts of various size projects, from small, medium, and large, through the development life cycle to enhance and support Settlement system. Settlement application computes the amounts owed to our content provides for Video, VOD/PPV, VASIP, and Redbox JV transaction usages. Same system enhancement include provide bulk batch load capabilities to load changes in Partner settlement rates, and provide functionality to apply gratis by either Partner or Product level.
– Setting employee objectives, and assessment individual performance.
– Provide training, coaching, and employee counseling employees
– Receive a series of business enhancements to be included in the Content Settlements application. Candidate would need to work with team to understand the scope of the enhancements, determine impact to the application, and work thru a detail design for implementation. Assign development resources to build the enhancements, and then have detail test cases to validate changes. The Content Settlement system manages payments of ~$3 Billion annual to content providers. Also prepare and provide executive level presentations to summarize delivery schedules, system changes, and value of the Settlement application.
Qualifications
5+ years; Linux, Oracle development and support.. Need to have a deep understanding of business processes to ensure support of the production environments. Strong Development methodology and proven experience in managing multiple development efforts concurrently. Strong skills in team development.
