Responsibilities This position leads the Consumer Products International Sales team including a team of internal sales executives and a network of international agents. The focus of the position will be to grow the overall Consumer Products business worldwide and deliver significant revenue and media exposure for Universal Pictures, NBC Television and Sprout titles. Candidates should be excellent communicators with a deep knowledge of Consumer Products and Retail and they should have solid contacts in both of these industries. The SVP will have a demonstrable history as a revenue generator, leading and managing revenue growth of entertainment, media or other Consumer Products organizations. The job requires significant travel throughout the US and Internationally.

Responsibilities:
• Prepares international sales goals, develops consumer products strategy and evaluate results to ensure that departmental, organizational objectives and operating requirements are met
• Oversee international revenue generation and identify ways to maximize revenue
• Analyze financial reports
• Ensure company policies and procedures are followed
• Attract, retain and motivate staff
• Establish clear performance goals and budgets and monitor performance on a consistent basis
• Ensure highly productive relationships and partnerships for the benefit of the organization
• Work collaboratively with internal departments – legal, accounting, retail, product approval, etc. – and external partners to achieve goals
• Solves internal and external issues as they arise
• Communication to internal and external stakeholders on a consistent basis
• Perform all other duties as assigned by the Executive Vice President
Qualifications/Requirements • Minimum of 15 years of direct consumer products sales experience
• Minimum of 10 years of management experience
• Broad international experience and a history of deal making with European, Latin American and Asian companies
• Demonstrated success in prospecting, negotiating and closing deals at client and agency level
• Proven ability to lead, manage, train and motivate a multi-person sales team
• Demonstrated ability to hold sales team members accountable for performance
• Proven competencies in developing and executing sales strategies and tactics
• Success in managing multiple client and customer relationships
• Demonstrated ability to oversee revenue targets and media deliverables with management and finance
