The Girls & Movies Manager is responsible for participating in defining the strategy, definition and delivery of digital experiences across EMEA that are focused on Disney’s girls audience (namely Disney Channel) and also Disney’s Studio films. In providing strong, consistent and focused leadership, you will help ensure Disney builds on and consolidates its position as one of Europe’s leading family and commercial entertainment digital destinations.
Disney Interactive is responsible for the digital presence of Disney IP based on Disney’s TV brands, Franchises and characters (e.g. Disney Princess, Fairies, Toy Story). This role is responsible for participating in defining the strategy of digital content for Girls and also for Movies properties. Balancing efficiency and quality, the role is responsible for conducting the planning and production of digital content relating to these properties and ensuring that the highest quality, engaging and entertaining content is delivered for target audiences.
Demonstrable success and hands-on experience as a product lead in the entertainment industry with specific experience delivering content for a girls/movie audience
Previous experience of leading, motivating and managing a small team of producers
Experience working in large complex organisation with multiple stakeholders
Significant experience of working with multiple territories and localising projects in multiple languages desirable
Experience and expertise in delivering products informed by insights delivered via user research, analytics tools and market trends
Experience of TV Broadcast content management and scheduling would be an advantage
Extensive experience of relevant production systems and methods, including content management systems and production workflow
Significant experience in writing, editing and commissioning digital content– particularly within the entertainment field
