Recommended Qualifications:

Requires 5+ years’ experience in a technical sales role and/or software support role

Strong sense of initiative and willing to be accountable for success.

Broad technical knowledge with deep experience – ideally inside and outside Microsoft.

Good personal network inside Microsoft and knowledge of how to get things done

Broad and/or in-depth knowledge and technical expertise across the Microsoft product line including: Windows Server, Active Directory, Office , Office 365, Windows OS, SQL Server, Exchange Server, Systems Management, Virtualization, Infrastructure Optimization, Azure and Windows Devices

Experience with deployment of infrastructure products and selling the vision of the Cloud is a plus

Strong customer relationship and interpersonal skills

Ability to quickly learn new software technologies used at Microsoft.

Flexibility and a positive attitude to change.

Strong competitive intelligence and strategy skills.

Strong prioritization and objection handling skills.

Previous work experience in the Health Provider and/or Health Plan industry is preferred.

Knowledge of Microsoft licensing preferred.

Bachelor’s degree required.

Must be available for travel 35% – 50% of the time for territory travel, training, sales conferences, etc.

The preferred location for this role is MA, NY, NJ , MD or PA
