JOB SUMMARY

This role will be primarily responsible for Product & Content Marketing Management for the Information
Builders business in the EMEA region. The Product Marketing Manager EMEA develops International
messaging/positioning frameworks in line with the EMEA Sales strategy and manages EMEA launch
plans for our new and existing solutions. The Product Marketing manager develops messaging,
positioning, value propositions and wider sales materials and communication in line with Corporate
messaging for the European market. He or she creates and manages delivery of highly compelling
written, visual, and video content for use across all of our EMEA marketing channels that reach our
customers and prospects- including our website, sales tools, marketing collateral, presentations, blogs
and social networks. In his/her role the Product Marketing Manager is also responsible for our EMEA
Customer Reference Program. We are looking for a creative thinker who can grasp complex concepts
quickly and then translate them into compelling written and visual content.

The Product Marketing Manager EMEA reports directly to the Marketing Director International with dotted
line to VP Global Product Marketing.
LOCATION

The Candidate can work from our London, Amsterdam or Paris office.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Marketing
 Create a messaging and positioning framework that serves as a foundation for EMEA content
development that support our EMEA business goals, sales strategy and corporate messaging.
 Conduct European market research and customer feedback in order to develop European go to
market programs and associated content.
 Partner with sales to understand their priorities and strategic plan in order to identify and deliver
solutions (product information, insights, sales tools) that meets their needs.
 Establish and implement a regional product & solutions plan on a quarterly basis for the EMEA
region.
 European go to market program & messaging alignment with Corporate marketing. Create
relationship and influence with HQ based product marketing teams, working towards the optimal
positioning for the EMEA region.
 Act as industry expert and spokesperson at EMEA tradeshows and Information Builders events
(seminars, webinars, etc)

Content Creation and Management
 Plan, manage and execute EMEA content calendar. Make content planning and scheduling as
part of the marketing evaluation process and plan annual cycle.

 Develop content and messaging for use in EMEA marketing programs (eBooks, blog posts, slide
shares etcetera).
 Packaging and modification of US marketing content (collateral, presentations, etc) for
European markets to support sales strategy & market differences.
 Liaise with Marketing Programs manager EMEA for coordination of content for Euro marketing
activities. Propose ideas for new content that will be aligned to overall campaign themes and translate
these ideas into web copy, sales tools, marketing collateral, blog posts, social media posts, video, etc.
 Maintain an ongoing inventory of all the existing content we have at our disposal & solicit
requests from across the EMEA organization for new types of content.

Customer Reference Program
 Manage the EMEA customer reference program, build the pipeline for new case studies, facilitate
the customer approval process and manage full lifecycle of customer relationships.
 Implement a system to strategically identify, recruit, track and incent customers for reference
activities.
 Support sales organization with customer references for prospects
 Establish metrics to measure the success of all aspects of the company customer reference
marketing programs and routinely publish the results against targets. Conduct regular reporting with
information on program effectiveness and opportunities to improve.
 Solicit and respond to user feedback.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE
 Recognized Marketing Qualification and/or Communication/Journalism.
 Minimum of 5 years’ experience in product marketing with a focus on content and its strategic
implementation. Industry knowledge a major plus.
 Passionate about product marketing.
 Passionate about content.
 Strong writing/communication skills.
 Knowledge of social media channels and digital content.
 Strong at building effective interpersonal relationships.
 Excellent communicator with strong presentation skills.
 Highly organized with proven project management abilities.
 Previous experience working for a US headquartered company and previous experience in
software marketing is preferred.
 Fluency in English is essential. Additional fluency in German or French or Spanish is an
advantage.
