For a large multinational company based in Munich, we’re searching for a talented Marketing manager, ideally someone with a background in technology & someone who has been an area marketing manager working with different offices across Germany, Austria & Switzerland

Responsibilities

  • Develop the regional field marketing plan to support sales objectives and assist in growing the customer base in region.
  • Research, recommend and drive targeted marketing plans to bring together corporate programs and regional opportunities, including but not limited to field events, press and analysis relations, direct marketing programs, industry events/tradeshows and the development of sales tools/case studies.
  • Ensure effective and efficient two-way communication between Corporate Marketing and local Field Marketing.
  • Liaise with local PR agency/contractor to develop and execute integrated marketing activity.
  • Efficiently work cross-functionally and within virtual teams to oversee the timely execution of the marketing plan.
  • Ensure all activities achieve certain standards and remain within budget.
  • Liaise with the lead development team to ensure there is alignment between the field marketing activity and lead follow-up.
  • Forecast, evaluate, measure and report on marketing campaign effectiveness and ROI.
  • Ability to build relationships with diverse teams and internal organizational cultures
  • Act as a senior marketing advisor and business partner to the VP and General Manager, CER
  • Manage and coach the local Marketing team of currently 4 team members (1 Marketing and 4 Telemarketing)

Basic Qualifications

  • Ability to articulate strategic initiatives into a message/position that is meaningful and relevant to the local customer, prospect and media.
  • Experience in delivering effective B2B lead generation marketing campaigns, including but not limited to seminar events, webcasts, and direct email and online marketing campaigns.
  • Ability to think strategically and keep abreast of the latest B2B Marketing innovations.
  • Excellent project management skills with an ability to prioritize on their own, and delegate tasks when appropriate.
  • Proven ability to work in a demanding fast paced environment and manage a high workload.
  • First experience in managing and coaching a local Marketing team (2-3 team members with different tasks)
  • Able to travel when required.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and Communications, or other related field.
  • Minimum 5-7 years experience in a field marketing programs role in a technology forward company.
  • Native Level German and Business Level English
