Role Overview
The Sr. Account Executive has responsibility for prospecting and closing new business in an assigned region focusing on enterprise accounts. With the support of Sales Engineering and Inside Sales, the BDM will utilize a consultative sales approach to map Dell SecureWorks service offerings to the clients’ needs.
 
Responsibilities
– Prospect and sell into Large Enterprise Accounts in the West Coast region
– BE a strong sales “hunter“
– Deliver on-line and face to face presentations highlighting Dell SecureWorks capabilities’
– Effectively map Dell SecureWorks solutions to meet prospect needs
– Maintain and update customer relationship tools for each prospect interaction
– Ability to sell in a direct and channel model
– Up to 50% travel across the West Coast region
Qualifications
Requirements
– At least 8 years of experience in a direct sales or account management capacity
– 5+ years selling with technology services, network security, information security or managed services
– Strong technical acumen – board experience in network security and information security systems
– Expertise working with complex and sophisticated Enterprise Accounts
– Knowledgeable with SIEM technologies
 
Preferred
– Bachelor’s Degree or higher
– Previous experience selling for a services organization
