LinkedIn is looking for a Sr. Developer for its Order to Cash process enabled in Oracle EBS. The Sr. Developer will be responsible for both supporting existing functionality and implementing new functionality in our custom Order Processing and Revenue system within Oracle Release 12 Applications with integration points to an upstream Order Booking and checkout system. The candidate should be self-driven, take ownership of substantial portions of the architecture. Should have strong technical experience in building and supporting custom applications/extensions within the EBS suite.
Responsibilities:

The Sr. Developer will be responsible for driving projects to their completion in Oracle Applications R12 in the Order to Cash area, specifically related to a custom online Order Management module with credit card payment processing and related functionality.
Provide technical Oracle R12 EBS application support to internal business customers in the areas of OTC and revenue recognition.
Support the Order to Cash processes in a Social Media Order capture/booking & fulfillment business model with integrations to Oracle ERP.
Responsible for delivering enhancements & supporting Projects in E-Business Suite R12 in a custom application module and standard Oracle modules including AR & Cash Management
Directly or indirectly, in conjunction with Business Analysts, work with business users to resolve customer support issues within Oracle EBS within agreed-to service level agreements (SLAs).
Ability and Eagerness to learn new tools and technologies such as OBIEE, packaged revenue solutions, Oracle Applications Frameworks (OAF) etc.
Support users and help Business Analysts troubleshoot and resolve application issues.
Support and test interface programs and results to facilitate information flow between external systems and Oracle Financials. Experience with integration of external order processing platforms with Oracle desirable.
Architect Cash reconciliation solutions for billing and accounting involving multiple payment processors/gateways with Multicurrency features.
Support the revenue calculation and revenue recognition processes and revenue waterfall reporting.
Support the team and Finance users during monthly revenue close, revenue reporting, reconciliations and analysis.
Ensure sufficient off-hours support coverage during month end and quarter end activities.
Analyze, design and develop customizations that are optimized to the Oracle upgrade path using Oracle recommended framework and tool sets.
Develop technical specifications, process flow diagrams. Translate functional design into technical deliverables. Develop test strategy and author test plans as required for enhancements and patches.
Monitor effectiveness of systems and processes and make appropriate recommendations to ensure daily operations are efficient

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Business Information Systems or Computer Science) and 5-10 years of relevant experience in Oracle e-Business Suites.
5-10 years of experience in implementation, development, process re-engineering and support of Oracle EBS suite.
3+ years of Oracle applications support in Order to Cash and Billing. Must have experience in Oracle R12 EBS specifically in Order to Cash (OTC), Accounts Receivables (AR), and Cash Management with experience in social media order capture, billing and revenue accounting.
2+ Years of experience with order capture/booking & fulfillment in a social media or similar “soft” product online checkout business model with integration into Oracle ERP for Billing and Revenue.
Should have worked on one or more projects involving settlement of payments via a payment processor integrated to an Oracle Order/billing system and their reconciliation.
Experience with revenue reporting and recognition of deferred revenue.
Strong knowledge of Oracle table structures, API’s, Schemas, Oracle open interfaces
2+ years of translating functional requirements into technical specifications. Ability to gather and document development requirements.
Experience in Oracle ERP integration with other platforms / 3rd party applications.
Excellent analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills to manage complex process and technology issues.
Proficiency with tools used to support Oracle Application development including PL/SQL, SQL*Plus, Forms, Reports, Workflow, Discoverer, SQL*Loader & Shell scripting.
Desirable to have OBIEE reporting experience.
