Dell, Inc. is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for a Federal Sales Account Executive to join our team in the Metro Washington, DC territory.
 
The Federal Sales Account Executive for Dell Federal will call on Department of Defense (DoD) customers in the US.  Responsible for selling Dell’s full product and service lines (face-to-face) to new and existing customers. Solution and relationship focused.
 
Role Responsibilities:
– Owns the face-to-face interaction with the customer
– Focuses on delivering a positive customer experience according to Dell standards
– Builds strong customer relationships
– Focuses on retention/development of existing customers and new business acquisition
– Drives Dell’s initiatives into assigned account set/territory while delivering revenue, units, margin, enterprise, and services revenue
– Teams with internal Dell resources and leads the cross functional sales team in making the best business decisions. Anticipates how market and competitive factors will influence the selling of Dell products and services
– Long-term vision of business/technology direction for Dell
– Advises customers/Dell on strategic business and technology plans
– Recognized internally and externally as a thought leader on the industry, the Dell business strategy and competition
– Effectively influences key decisions for the benefit of Dell and the customer
– Works effectively with functional leaders throughout the organization/models effective team leadership
Qualifications
– 5+ years outside sales experience
– Experience calling on the DoD community required
– Secret or Top Secret Clearance preferred
