The candidate will be a member of the Microsoft Capability working with a team of experienced Microsoft consultants. In conjunction with the New Business Development teams we are striving to grow the this capability in partnership with Microsoft.
The client is looking to hire an experienced Microsoft Solution lead. The ideal candidate would be technically rounded, with skills ranging from core design and development, standardisation, technical lead and customer management. There will also be a focus on pre-sales and bid activities, qualifying leads, costing and crafting solutions as part of a team, work on tenders / proposals.
Successful candidates will be a self starter, a team player, quick to learn, able to make an early impact, and display enthusiasm, motivation and interest in a career in development and support of leading edge software applications.
You will have well developed communication skills and technical skills particularly on Microsoft Enterprise platforms and Server Products, having operated in a role of lead Microsoft specialist. A third level qualification and a clear track record of application hands on design and development using Microsoft toolsets and platforms will be required together with a thorough knowledge of Information Technologies and their functions. In addition to this it would be very advantageous to be able to demonstrate a track record developing CRM solutions and in at least one or more skills area such as Reporting solutions, Collaboration solutions and / or Integration solutions. You should clearly demonstrate customer and business orientation, be comfortable in customer presentation and customer workshop environments and have expertise in the use of chosen methods and tools. You should be able to demonstrate experience of being the applications team lead on at least one major project.
Competencies (Knowledge/Skills/ Experience) – Mandatory:
Practical experience designing, developing and deploying solutions using the Microsoft suite of products
Be well versed in the use and applicability of Microsoft products
Commercial design and delivery experience
Able to provide general consulting role on Microsoft platforms, guiding the client through the contact / process / workflow principles and their business benefits.
Should be “hands on”, able to quickly build relationships and liaise with all stakeholders and members of the project team
For new Business Development(Depending on the identified offering) – Mentor / coach a team of developers / support technicians to support implementation of future business
Good communication & presentation skills, particularly the ability to communicate complex technical issues in a jargon free manner to Client senior management
Competencies (Knowledge/Skills/ Experience) – Desirable:
Microsoft Dynamics CRM
CRM product knowledge must be combined with application development tool set
Commercial experience in delivering Microsoft based application architectures
Experience working with and developing solutions with BizTalk 2009 or greater
Strong .Net skill set across the various .Net areas such as ASP.Net, WCF etc
DBA-level ability supporting Microsoft SQL Server
Microsoft Service offerings such as Office365
