Job Description Lead/coaches/mentor/supervise a team of developers distributed globally and build highly energetic team

Continuously evaluates the performance of the team

Assist employees in building and managing their development plan

Identify and close gaps in process, procedures and design practices. Set and enforce best practices in engineering

Ensure compliance with technical standards for arch/design and code reviews

Maintains a comprehensive resource planning scheduler to forecast and track staff availability and assignments

Proactively build team skills and positions to meet business goals

Collaborates with business partners, developers, testers, release managers, peers, and executives

Participate in management duties such as daily supervision, setting goals and objectives, hiring new personal, 1 on 1 meetings etc

Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

Acts with a sense of urgency and commitment to provide the best support possible to stakeholders

Qualifications

5 to 7 years of software development work experience including staffing and resource management.
3 to 5 years of work experience using resource management scheduling and tracking tools.
Knowledge of Staff Augmentation best practices
Proven vendor management skills
Strong strategic and pragmatic planning skills
Good negotiation, influencing, problem solving and initiative skills
Ability to multi-task and work in fast paces and complex environment
Ability to work in a very strong collaborative team environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Knowledge of Agile software development
Excellent oral and written communication skills
BS/BA degree in Computer Science or related fields or equivalent experience. MS and/or MBA preferred
