Job Description Directs and controls the activities of a broad functional area that are focused on internal and/or external project management. Oversees the planning, project execution and day-to-day support required for the company’s internal projects and related activities. Participates in the creation and implementation of overall project strategy, methodology and best practices. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
Initiates and maintains contact with internal and external organizations and individuals to ensure
appropriate cooperation, coordination and information exchange, with the goal of properly developing the staff and successfully completing assigned projects including governance on 3rd party vendors.
Oversees the planning, project execution and day-to-day support required for the company’s internal
projects and related activities.
Oversees identification and mitigation of risk by monitoring projects and assessing potential risks.
Maintains a detailed understanding of the industry, company products and overall business knowledge.
Understands the customer’s goals, business needs and current business and economic trends. Uses this and other related product and industry knowledge to build solutions with customers.
Confers with internal stakeholders and/or partners requesting projects for clarification and to gather
information regarding project scope, purpose, design and implementation. Analyzes data to determine
effect on project.
Understands the budget and resource impacts of multiple projects in multiple departments against the overall budget and resource pool that the projects draw from.
Leads project management process improvement and best practice assignments. Evaluates and
develops improvement of overall project planning. Analyzes business opportunities and recommends
solutions, including ACI financial needs. Identifies opportunities to leverage ACI capabilities or solutions
across functional areas. Assists with conducting strategic planning and decision making which addresses long-term business and customer objectives.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Computer Systems or equivalent experience.
15 years related experience.
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
Leadership experience required.
