Description

Position Title:  Regional Account Representative – PeopleNet Energy Services 

Location:  Remote/telecommute

 

Department:  Regional Sales

 

Position Summary:

Represent PeopleNet within assigned territory, to existing, new and potential customers for the sole purpose of generating new revenues through the sale of products, and services.   Responsible for the development and preparation of sales strategy for territory.  Maintains relationships with appropriate company team members to identify and communicate new and future product needs, development and market trends.  Provides customer service/support when required to existing customers.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work with Director of Regional Sales and assigned Inside Sales Representative to develop sales in the Oil and Gas vertical in the United States.
  • Cold call into prospects
  • Plan personal visits to customer and prospect sites primarily located in Texas, New Mexico, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana.
  • Conduct WebEX  presentations.
  • Use Customer Centric Selling (CCS) sales format to plan procedure.

 

Required Skills:

  • Entrepreneurial experience preferred / Self Starter.
  • Cold calling experience with demonstrated results.
  • Demonstrated comfort in public speaking and presentations.
  • Experience with MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • 70% + travel required.

 

Preferred Skills:       

  • Detailed knowledge of, or experience in the Oil and Gas industry.
  • General understanding of transportation technology.
  • Understanding of fleet management solutions available in the marketplace.
  • Experience with NetSuite
