A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a client account director to join a leader in technology solutions to the financial sector.

This company delivers innovate solutions in data centre, platforms, networking and software to deliver exceptional infrastructure services. With the majority of their customers in the financial sector, the demand for perfection is at an all time high with continuous audits, and regulatory bodies scrutinising their solutions.

This role will involve you managing one of these key accounts, and will be a major opportunity to play a pivotal part in maintaining and growing revenues.

Key responsibilities & skills

– Account management

– Business development and lead generation

– Management of key client along with management of other accounts

– Bid management

– To develop and demo new business relationships with new customers

– Report directly to the sales director

– Predict, forecast and deliver against sales targets

– Experience of selling managed services

– Expertise in selling to financial sector clients

– Consultative and solutions focussed sales approach

– Infrastructure sales including virtualisation, storage and cloud

– VMware, Citrix, HP, Microsoft, Cisco and other relevant vendor knowledge

– Previous reseller or SI sales expertise

– Excellent communication skills

– Used to working to margin targets of £600K +
