Overview:

Our client is a global cloud networking firm with the role based in Germany. You can work in home office capacity or work from any local office and you will travel 75% of the time within Germany, but also Switzerland and Austria.

The role is responsible for growing revenue through direct sales and channel sales and marketing efforts in your assigned territory, but also for relationship management with partners. This is a new business focussed role, and our client is looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic hunter mentality who can also be an evangelist. You will be working closely with inside sales, the pre-sales team and channel partners managing deals throughout the whole sales cycle.

Responsibilities:

· Entire sales process management from prospecting to close

· Strong relationship building skills with channel partners.

· Closely work with partners to help them with growing and enabling them to close business

· You will have the resources of sales engineers and inside sales to develop your business opportunities

Qualifications/Skills:

· Native German language skills and business fluent English

· Direct and channel sales experience an advantage

· Experience selling into the public sector in Germany desired

· At least 5 years successful field sales experience

· Highly motivated and enthusiastic about new technologies

· High degree of flexibility in terms of learning new products and travelling

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent a must
