Responsible for providing disaster recovery services and ensuring and advocating for the availability and recoverability of critical business applications. Provide centralized monitoring and senior level point of escalation for disaster recovery functions. In the event of a business interruption acts as overall coordinator of all disaster recovery activities across the organization. Partners with Infrastructure, Development and Business organizations to proactively ensure preparedness and recoverability. Areas of responsibility include IT vendor relationship management and formalizing disaster recovery processes as well as disaster recovery test scheduling, planning, coordination and remediation. Participates in compliance reviews, internal and external, as required.

Functional/Organizational Management
Manages a team to provide disaster recovery services and consulting to all CoreLogic business units. Coaches, trains and mentors direct reports, providing opportunities for employee development. Has full performance management responsibilities, creating specific goals and objectives with staff to ensure that organization goals are met. Delegates assignments to subordinate staff. Staff may be in multiple locations (domestic and international). Responsible for coordinating efforts and meeting goals staffing and schedule requirements across locations.
Disaster Recovery
Adopt and improve Corelogic standard process for Disaster Recovery (DR) and ensure that risks that could seriously impact IT services are managed. Ensure service levels can be met by reducing the risk from disaster events to an acceptable level and planning for the recovery of IT services. Support Business Continuity Management. Ensure CoreLogic recovery teams have comprehensive recovery procedures and are trained in the execution of those procedures. In partnership with IT vendor, conduct DR testing and ensure remediation of any recovery gaps.
Measure Effectiveness
Develop proper monitoring and measurement metrics, analyzing recovery trends in order to avoid future problems. Use metrics to eliminate unnecessary or redundant hardware expenses. Drive the adoption of advanced recovery methods and automation to minimize recovery time.
IT Vendor Relationship Management
Coordinate projects and work assignment, and monitor outcomes. Collaborate wand partner with IT Vendors to ensure recoverability of environment and applications. Track performance.
